I get more information from this guy than I do from my own doctors.

Never saw anything like this outside the post office when Bush was president.
The politics of fear at work again.

Hypocrisy

I realize this is only news when a Democrat does it.
This congressman has voted for just about every piece of "family values" legislation.

Time for him to go away.

The Hernia

OK.
I have to admit I have been feeling sorry for myself.
I have to have an incisional hernia repair next Wednesday,
Just when I was starting to feel pretty good, this happens.
I know. It's a simple procedure. It's not the end of the world.
It could be worse.
I am just not too keen on going under general anethesia again.

And, I worry about things:
How am I going to raise the garage door?
How am I going to get my laundry done?
How am I going to empty the cat litter box?
How am I going to keep the cat off my lap?
How am I going to get to hold my Addie and Dillie?
How am I going to do any shopping?
How am I going to assist patients to transfer to the toilet?
How am I going to hold the world on my shoulders?
OK...those last two I don't really have to do.
But, still. There is a lot of lifting that needs to be done.

On the bright side, maybe I can finally catch up with what's going on in Pine Valley.
And, "The View" is back from hiatus.

I must also be thankful my hernia is not this bad.
