Are you saying Gore for President and Obama for vice after ALL the work Obama has done? What I'm afraid of most is the rumors flying around now that it could be a Hillary/Obama or Obama/Hillary ticket....AHHHHH! I've heard quite a few liberals saying McCain looks better everyday if that rumor ends up a reality.
McCain looks better with a Clinton/Obama ticket or vice versa? I don't know what liberals you're talking to, but NO Democrats I know would even consider voting for McCain. That would be like giving George Bush a third term.
I am not so happy with the way Clinton is running her campaign. I hope Obama wins the nomination. But, I still love Al.
That doesn't mean I won't vote for Clinton if she is the eventual nominee. I most certainly will.
Why?
Because McCain wants to continue this futile war, he admits to knowing NOTHING about economics and he is NOT interested in social issues. His words. Not mine.
He's an old man who left his first wife for the second only to have her end up a drug addict, stealing from her own foundation.
And to use a republican argument, if he can't take care of his private life, why should I think he can take care of this country?
What you've said about McCain is true and he is regarded even by many Republicans to be a weak choice. However, with that said, there are definitely democrats that dislike Hillary enough to vote for McCain with no regard to his stance on war or his private life. They dislike Hillary that much. Just what I've heard.
A Obama/Clinton ticket won't work because Hillary won't be 2nd in command, no way, no how. And, it would be awful for Obama on a Clinton/Obama ticket because Hillary won't allow him to do anything but be the token male in the room.

Why that bumper-sticker is better than fantasy football any day! Although if I were picking MY dream team, it would be Gore-Edwards.
