I Feel the Earth Move

We recently had a traveling OT working at the hospital. Brad is from Chicago and works in the school system there. Since he has summers off, he and his family decided to have a "working" vacation. He signed up with a company and came on out to Pasadena for the summer. He ended up working on our rehab unit.

Brad told me a story one day about how disasters seem to follow him around.

For example, he was at the top of the World Trade Center the week before September 11th, 2001.

He was in New Orleans a few weeks before Katrina hit.

And, he was in Minneapolis just days before that bridge collapsed last month.

He had me convinced I had better be prepared for something terrible once he left for Illinois.

He left last week.

I was sitting at my computer this morning and guess what? I felt an earthquake. OK, it was just a little one. And, it was about 50 miles away.

Even still, I hope it is not a prelude to something bigger. I have my water and earthquake supplies ready.

Just in case Brad really is a walking disaster.

This traveler seems like a real incredible person. He sounds handsome, and strong, and intelligent, and warm, and funny, and witty, and fun to be around, and a good card player, and interesting, and large hearted (not due to health issues), and genuine, and caring, and sincere, and frank, and motivating, and exciting, and remarkable, and fascinating, and amusing, and witty, and quaint, and clever, and bright, and gifted, and sharp, and quick. You were really lucky to have him around.

You seem to know this traveler well.
As you can tell if you click on the link, he IS handsome. That's a given.
And he IS also strong, intelligent, warm, funny, witty, fun to be around, a good card player, interesting, large hearted (but not in an unhealthy way), genuine, caring, sincere, frank, motivating, exciting, remarkable, fascinating, amusing, witty (again!), quaint, clever, bright, gifted, sharp and quick.

But you forgot to mention he is honest and cheerful and talented and hard working and charming, and bewitching, and beguiling and delightful, and capitvating and infatuating and genial and popular and fashionable and worldly and energetic and lovable and generous and witty (oh, you said that. twice).

We WERE lucky to have him around And, we miss him. :(
