"Racism is so universal in this country, so widespread and deep-seated, that it is invisible because it is so normal." [Shirley Chisholm, 1970]

"You cannot go to a 7-11 or Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian Accent."-Senator Joe Biden

"And I couldn’t get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia’s restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. Blacks and Hispanics are "too busy eating watermelons and tacos" to learn how to read and write." -- Mike Wallace

Regarding the Rutgers Women's Basketball team: “That’s some nappy headed hos there, I’m going to tell you that,” -Don Imus

'Hymies.' 'Hymietown.' -- Jesse Jackson's description of New York City while on the 1984 presidential campaign trail.

"I do know that it’s true that if you wanted to reduce crime, you could — if that were your sole purpose, you could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down. That would be an impossible, ridiculous, and morally reprehensible thing to do, but your crime rate would go down."-Bill Bennett

In the newspaper interview, Dr. James Watson (1962 Nobel Peace Prize winner for his part in the discovery of the structure of DNA) said there was no reason to think that races which had grown up in separate geographical locations should have evolved identically.
