Overheard in the Therapy Room

Therapist: "I'd like you to tell me what you would do in this situation. What would you do if you had a flat tire?"

Elderly Female Patient: "I'd call 911."

Therapist: "Well, when do we usually call 911?"

Patient: "When you have an emergency."

Therapist: "That's right. Do you think a flat tire falls into the category of 'emergency'?"

Patient: "Then I'd call...you know. What are they called?

Thoughtful Pause

Patient: "Oh!!!! I know!!! I'd call the AARP! They have to help old people. Don't they?"
